OK I have used 4 ratings to determine the best AntiVirus out on the market. Third place is avast! Free Edition. Tests VB100: Failed (some wild lists missing) VB100 RAP: Passed (score 90 or more to pass) AV-Test: Passed (score 8/12 or higher in combined protection/repair) AV-Comparitives: Passed (Score 15 or more combined in the tests) Grade:3/4 100% Summary: The fact it was missing some wild list and failed the VB100 is what put this in third place. Outside of failing the VB100 it passed all other major tests. It also has a simple user interface, always keeps up to date, very stable and is the best solution for those who use file sharing or IM as it offers a shield for both.
